WHAT MAKES OUR EDUCATION SO SPECIAL?
It’s what happens afterward…
In audition massages by our recent graduates, one BTC Graduate was told she was as good as 10-year massage therapists -another Spa owner was shocked that one BTC student was that good and had not even graduated yet- and in the third audition massage the Grad was hired on the spot by the lead therapist and immediately promoted to 2nd therapist. And while every school can boast a success story occasionally, we hear these success stories month after month, all year long. An exceptional school leads to exceptional skills.
Graduates that attend our entire training program not only do very well, they stand out by their sheer excellence. This means our Graduates have an easier time finding employment.
For 7 years each and every student passed the licensing exam on their first try!
HOW DO WE DO IT?
Simple, though not easy. In part we do it through our Mastery of this work which comes from the extraordinary trainings we have taken and experience we have. Originally from Chicago, Lee and I have received wonderful trainings at schools in the US and Europe, bringing a wide range of exceptional knowledge and skills with us. Through our school you are connecting to some of the best bodywork education and wisdom ever offered.

CREATIVITY AND RESPONSIVITY TO CHANGES IN THE INDUSTRY
We also specialize in creating wonderful classes which allow us to maintain an extraordinary degree of responsiveness to changes in our industry. This simply is not possible for the vast majority of massage schools in this country as most are owned by one corporation, with one basic training program.
From Safe Hot Stone Massage training to our newest style we have developed: Cupping Massage, when wonderful new options and science allows us to expand our industry and skills, we are on the forefront of Massage Education. Our Massage-Style Cupping class is a great example. It wasn’t long ago that Michael Phelps, the olympic champion swimmer, appeared in the Olympics with cupping marks. This started bringing national attention to this style of work. At The Bodhi Tree Center, we have developed and teach our own Massage-Style of Cupping that has amazing effects on tissues.

- East meets West in our wonderful set of Asian therapy classes such as Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Tui Na, to name a few.
